Welcome Hopewell Hawks!
Hello Hopewell Families,
We are excited to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year at Hopewell Elementary! We are looking forward to working together to create a wonderful year of learning and growing at Hopewell Elementary! We have included some information below to help you get started this year. In addition, here is a link to frequently asked questions. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. We are looking forward to an exciting new school year!
Class Placements:
You should be able to view your child’s classroom placement in Infinite Campus. You should have also received an email from the district office for more information on how to log into your Infinite Campus account.
School Supplies:
If you pre-ordered a school supply kit last spring, the kit will be delivered directly to your child’s classroom and will be waiting for them on the first day of school. Here is the link to our school supply lists if you still need to purchase school supplies for your child.
Breakfast/Lunch
To purchase school meals, you can send in lunch money with your child or you can set up an account for your child by creating a Pay School Account. If you set up a Pay School account, your student will be able to use their lunch number to pay for their breakfast/ lunch in the cafeteria, rather than handling money. Additionally we encourage you to please fill out the Free/Reduced meal application as soon as possible. Paper copies of the application will be available on Meet The Teacher night or in the school office. Please call the office if you need assistance in filling this form out. Free/Reduced Meal Applications must be filled out EVERY YEAR in order to qualify.
Meal prices are as follows: Breakfast $1.50 and Lunch $2.55. The breakfast/lunch menus will be posted at this link very soon: https://dublincity.
Bus Information:
Please visit your family’s Infinite Campus account to access your child’s specific transportation information. Kindergarten families will receive a phone call from their student’s bus driver. A representative from transportation will also be available during Meet The Teacher on August 14th from 1:45-3.
Infinite Campus- Back to School Forms:
Before the start of each school year, families must complete the Annual Update. Items that can be confirmed or changed as part of the Annual Update include street address, phone number, email, and emergency contacts. Parents will also acknowledge our district handbooks, student code of conduct, and technology/network use agreements during the Annual Update process.
STEPS
To access the Annual Update, please follow steps 1-7 below.
Log-in to Infinite Campus Parent Portal
-
Click “More” in the Main Menu or “Annual Update” under district announcements
-
Select “Online Registration Update”
-
Click “24-25 (Current School Year) Existing Student Registration.” Please make sure you select Existing Student Registration, not New Student.
-
Under Action, click “Start”
-
Click “Begin Registration”
-
Fill out your back-to-school forms
THINGS TO NOTE
-
For best results, complete the Annual Update from a computer or tablet.
-
A change of address requires two proofs of residency. A list of acceptable residency documents can be found on our Enrollment Required Documentation page.
Drop Off/Pick Up:
If you are dropping your child off in a car, please enter through the Bright Road entrance and follow the counter-clockwise loop around the back playground area. We have painted designated spots for five cars to pull up at a time. Please follow these guidelines:
-
Students should not exit the car until they are in one of the designated drop off spots.
-
To support an efficient and safe drop off/pick up, students may ONLY EXIT on the PASSENGER SIDE of the car.
-
Parents/guardians need to remain in their car. Staff on duty can assist in opening the car door for your child if needed.
-
Pull all the way up to allow more cars to drop off at one time.
Kindergarten Mid-day Car Drop Off and Pick Up: Please enter through the Bright Rd. entrance and pull up to Door #17, near the flagpole. Cars are not permitted in the front parking lot at any time. If you need to pick up or drop off your child early/late, please park in our main parking lot off of Bright Rd and come to the front of the building to the office to sign your child in/out.
Afternoon Transportation Changes:
If alternate transportation is needed on any given day, please email BOTH your student’s classroom teacher as well as, hopewell_info@dublinschools.
Attendance Guidelines: Please note we have a new attendance secretary, Ms.Sutton. Mrs. Norfleet is at Davis now so please direct all attendance questions to Ms. Sutton. Please email the Hopewell attendance line, hwes_attendance@dublinschools.
PTO - Parent-Teacher Organization:
We would love to have you join our Hopewell PTO. More information about PTO will be provided at the Meet The Teacher event in August.

Back To School Library Update ClarificationAs part of the annual back to school update, parents were asked if they would like to receive an email notification of their student’s book checkout. If you opted in to receiving email notifications for your student’s book checkout, the ability for him/her to independently check out a book will not be an option. A media specialist or library aide will need to check out the books allowing them to send an email receipt.
