Hopewell PTO Information
PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization. Our role - as the “parent” part of the equation - is to work with Hopewell administration and the staff to enrich the day-to-day classroom experience of both teachers and students.
What does the Hopewell PTO Do?
APEX Glow Run Fundraiser
The PTO helps foster a sense of community by sponsoring and hosting various events and activities atHopewell Elementary. For the upcoming school year, these may include:
- Community Events - Back-to-School Bash & Spring Fling/Book Fair
- Hopewell Hawk Hike& Spirit Week, Field Day
- Parent/Teacher Conference Night meals for teachers, Teacher Appreciation Week
- Classroom Celebrations - Harvest Party & Valentine/Friendship Party School
- Beautification - entry decor, hallway, and bulletin board decorations
How Can You Help?
We are currently looking for volunteers for the following positions and committees:
- Executive Board Members/Co-Chairs
Hopewell Super Games
- Fundraising
- Hospitality/Staff Appreciation
- Beautification
- Celebrations/Spirit Weeks
- School-wide events
- Author Visits/School Programs
Every Little Bit Helps! We understand that families have busy schedules, and we know not everyone can attend every meeting or event. We also know that the smallest things are sometimes the biggest help! PTO members can help out by doing things like sending in items needed for meals for teachers on Conference Nights, helping serve popcorn to kids at events like the Spring Fling, or even being a helping hand at the Book Fair! The best part is the rewarding feeling of being a part of the Hopewell Community!
